Which brings me to this fortnights challenge from Daisy Doodles!!

I used my long ago favorite Bella Paper from Close To My Heart along with the stamped saying.

all paper by Close To My Heart, Fiskars Border Punch and Martha Stewart punches.

Freddy Hanging Out~ Happy Spring

Well I was hopeful for a couple of days that Spring was FINALLY here...but we are still getting some dreary days here. Well, I know it has to come eventually ....right =0)

Well, I am celebrating the hopes of it coming with my buddy Freddy!! I love the Freddy series from Daisy Digi Doodles!!  He really is a lot of fun to color and make scene's with.

If you haven't visited to store you really should!!

so here he is, enjoying the fresh air, relaxing on his swing....along with his Butterfly friend.

 

a bit of a different view of the handmade/stamped flower using the Springin' up Stamp set from Close To My Heart. Gives you cutting lines and even a video on how to make this 3d flower....

I have been getting adventurous with my Cricut lately...I figure, I really should try to use it more often since my Hubby went out of his way to actual get something I was interested in for my 40th bday....I won't say how long ago, HA!! Anyway, that is where the little butterfly came from . They have great sales on certain cartridges, this one happens to be from "April Showers" .....So I am hoping now that it is out on my desk without anything in front of it to keep me from pulling it out...I can play more.

Hope for Japan Artwork

Finally I got to create a card using the "Hope for Japan" stamp set. 

All proceeds from this $5 stamp set go directly to benefit those less fortunate in Japan. 

Close To My Heart is so giving in this way I couldn't imagine being with any other company!!

Well, I could babble on forever =0)

this card is in the Donation basket I made up for a dear friend of mine whom is raising money for the Mother's Day Walk in Philadelphia for the Cure. 

 

It is hard to tell what is in this but, there is an 8x8 CTMH Fabric Album, 8x8 page protectors, journaling blocks, ready made 8x8 pages a CTMH Idea Book all sitting inside a photo storage box.  I really hope someone bids on it =0) 

Magical Monday ~ Color Challenge and a FREEBIE

I tried to do the "clean look" for the first time....very hard for me, I usually add and add until I can't add anymore. 

Papers used on this card are from Close To My Heart, Animal Crackers Level 2 paper pack. Martha Stewart Border punch and of coarse my Prismacolor Pencils.

Daisy Doodle Challenge #31~ Easter

I love this time of year. Spring starts to creep in, the sun starts shinning more regularly, the kids start to get more active and play outside. Ahhh, fresh air....

Magical Monday~Fabric & Stitching

Happy Monday!!

Well, I am not a fan of Monday's either, but that just means a new Challenge from 

There's Magic in the Air's Challenge Blog!!

This week's challenge is to use Fabric & Stitching.

I must admit, this is not something I turn to when doing my projects =0)

But, it challenged me to go outside my box.

I used strips of fabric to make a flower

and pleated it to sit behind my image.

The image I used is from Paper Cupcakes store.....check it out if you haven't already!!

I just love him. He does many different things and you can make

I choose to play with Rainy Day Teddy this week....

this time of year, you never know what Mother Nature will bring us....

But Freddy doesn't care, he says, "Celebrate The Everyday"

Magical Monday~Let's Use Flowers

There are so many different things I think when told to "use flowers" from stamped image, to crocheted to paper. 

So I had a tough decision to make when this Magic Monday challenge came up. 

I went with a paper flower and ribbon flower, all handmade of coarse.

I used one of Martha Stewarts wonderful border punches, ric rac is from Close To My Heart as is all 

cardstock and texture paper along with "miss you" stamp.
